We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Asset Manager with a strong operational background in the property management industry to join our dynamic team in South Florida. This role will focus on optimizing property performance, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the effective management of a diverse real estate portfolio, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the financial and operational performance of a multi-property portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and ROI.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth or repositioning assets.
Operations Oversight:
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Establish and enforce operational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze operational data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Conduct regular reviews of property financial performance, including rent collections, occupancy rates, and expense control.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
Tenant Relations:
- Work with property managers to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Address escalated tenant concerns and oversee resolution processes.
Capital Improvements:
- Plan and oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Partner with vendors and contractors for renovations, maintenance, and repairs.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure properties comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with property operations.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset management and operations within the property management industry.
- Proven track record of managing diverse property portfolios in South Florida.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in property management software and tools (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar).
- Knowledge of South Florida real estate markets and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications:
- CPM (Certified Property Manager), CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), or similar credentials preferred.
