About The Role
We’re looking for a discerning, detail-driven Analyst to join our growing Private Real Estate Debt team in New York City. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our real estate debt investments which have been active since 1999—underwriting deals, supporting transactions, and helping drive data-backed decision-making for real estate debt investments. - Transaction Support – Assist with due diligence, deal closings, and asset management tasks.
- Market Research – Stay on top of economic and industry trends and synthesize key data into investment insights.
- Portfolio Management – Track performance metrics, monitor capital expenditures, and perform portfolio valuation analysis.
- Data & Reporting – Maintain deal pipeline databases and help with firm-wide reporting and capital raising efforts.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who’s not just great on paper—but a strong team player and a motivated, self-starter. Ideally, you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate (debt or equity), real estate accounting, appraisal, banking, or investment analysis
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Argus, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to write clear, concise investment memos and summaries
- Ability to verbally express a well-informed opinion
- Bonus if you’ve worked with FAS157 valuation frameworks
Other Things We Value
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
