A privately held real estate investment and development firm with a national portfolio of shopping centers, apartments, student housing, office buildings, and mixed-use communities is seeking an experienced Leasing Associate for a premier Class-A luxury residential property located in the Horsham, PA area.
The Leasing Associate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting resident retention initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, ideally within a Class-A community, and demonstrate a professional, upbeat, and client-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming inquiries via phone and in person; provide detailed property and unit information to prospective residents.
- Conduct community tours and show ready-to-lease apartments.
- Close new lease agreements and ensure applicants meet community qualification standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of community details, including pricing, availability, square footage, and lease terms.
- Monitor current and upcoming vacancies to proactively address occupancy goals.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and standards.
- Perform regular inspections of vacant units to ensure market readiness.
- Assist with resident retention and lease renewal programs.
- Support the planning and execution of resident events and community functions.
- Clearly explain lease terms, policies, and procedures to residents.
- Conduct follow-up communications to foster strong resident relationships.
- Submit and track maintenance service requests in coordination with on-site maintenance teams.
- Accurately prepare and process leasing documentation, including applications, lease agreements, addenda, and move-in packets.
- Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records (Onesite experience preferred).
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential leasing, preferably within Class-A multifamily communities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work Saturdays as part of a flexible schedule.
- Experience with Onesite software is a plus, though not required.
