Dalfen Industrial is looking for a Summer Intern to join its growing Investments team. The Industrial Real Estate Intern is primarily expected to perform in-depth market analysis of assigned markets & submarkets and record these insights into a central database. The intern will also be exposed to financial modeling, industrial real estate market trends, and other projects as assigned within the organization. We are looking for an intern to support our Northeast Regional team based in the Radnor, PA office.
Position Responsibilities
- Canvas markets and submarkets for vacancy, tenancy type, and ownership type
- Research – Perform market analysis of the industrial real estate industry to identify opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions
- Responsible for data management, maintaining large datasets and constructing graphs, maps, and charts as directed
- Market Knowledge – Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the markets & submarkets, including direct competition
- Provide recommendations for process improvement
- Perform a variety of ad-hoc assignments & projects
- Weekly Calls – Participate in weekly calls in all projects in which you are involved
- Underwriting – Learn and assist with underwriting new investment opportunities and leasing scenarios
Skills & Experience
- Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a 3.0 GPA
- Highly interested in the industrial real estate market
- Highly self-motivated and accountable, results-oriented
- Highly analytical and process-oriented, strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, details-oriented
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
- Exceptional organization, time-management, and prioritization skills
- Modeling experience, advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
