JOB TYPE: Permanent, full-time, hybrid. Three days a week at an IKEA Location. Two days remote. There is no relocation offered with this role.

SALARY: The salary range for this position is $72,916.00 - $106,086.00

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Compliance Specialist within the In-Home Services function, you will be responsible for ensuring that all required licenses are proactively managed, while balancing the operational needs of the business. In this role, you will:
Proactively identify and document legal requirements related to new markets being opened.
Support the business teams and organizational projects on meeting service standards and regulatory requirements, with a focus on supporting growth initiatives and the development of new services.
Responsible for licensing management and other industry certification requirements on a State, County, and Municipality level for all services performed by IKEA Home Services in the applicable market assigned.
Develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external compliance experts in the industry.
Identify and documents relevant national standards and regulations, communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that all required licenses and/or certifications are obtained and renewed in order for In-Home Serivices to operate seamlessly.
Create stable and strategic processes to ensure the business is supported to grow and operate legally at all times.
Ensure ethical operations and compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including risk, environmental, and health and safety standards. Support business partners and assist with Referral Partner licensing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience.
2 years’ relevant work experience.
2+ years as business administrator experience that has a working knowledge of state, county and municipality licensing processes when starting and maintaining new businesses.
Someone who is confident in knowing how to work within these complex jurisdictional processes.
Strong knowledge in legislations, international laws & standards.
Foundational knowledge of the different production and operation processes and ability to audit and analyze suppliers' working method.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
