Your Purpose
MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest cruise line brand is expanding its Talent Acquisition department, reflecting its rapid growth in the US market. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Talent Acquisition Intern to join our HR team, with a specific focus on both hourly and salaried roles. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in managing a high-volume hiring class, sourcing and screening candidates, and supporting the end-to-end recruitment process for roles across our Contact Center and Outbound Sales teams.
This is a hybrid position that requires attendance in the office two days per week in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
Your Impact
Assist in managing the recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews (in-person or remote).
Support Talent Acquisition efforts to source candidates specifically for Contact Center and Outbound Sales roles through job boards, social media, and local networking opportunities.
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, availability, and interest in both hourly and salaried roles.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide insights into the candidate pool.
Manage candidate communications, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Assist in updating and maintaining candidate databases in the HRIS system.
Participate in analyzing and reporting on recruitment metrics to ensure successful outcomes for the hiring class.
Support Talent Acquisition team as needed with additional recruitment tasks and administrative support.
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus.
Your Journey so far
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources, particularly in high-volume hiring for both hourly and salaried roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates.
Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Prior experience in customer service or sales roles is a plus but not required.
Your Essentials
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
