We are seeking a Property Assistant to join our small commercial real estate office! Our office provides property management services for commercial buildings.
To do this job, you must be able to keep things organized, communicate effectively, work without being micromanaged and keep yourself on task. We value someone who desires to learn and grow their skill sets and be a part of our team.
Qualifications:
- One year experience with office administration or similar
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- This position is exclusively for the most customer service oriented and organized of people
- Must have a desire to learn and grow, property management is so much fun but can also be challenging, this role is great for someone looking for a step into their career
- Must pass background, reference check and drug test
The duties of this position comprise the following goals:
- Running Errands as needed and keeping the office tidy
- Answer the phones and understand how the phone system works
- Track and maintain Certificates of Insurance for multiple projects
- Monitor two email addresses to ensure everything is being filtered correctly
- Ensure all property and tenant files (digital and physical) are prepared and maintained in an orderly and logical manner
- Prepare Tenant and Vendor Notices and Communication
- Call vendors as needed to request information and proposal
- Visit sites on occasion and inspect with management team
- Special projects such as marketing collateral, obtaining proposals and drafting contracts
- Must be able to keep information confidential and work closely with the owners
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.50 per hour
