The Leasing Agent is integral to Prime Urban Properties’ success. Leasing Agents are responsible for portraying Prime Urban Properties’ reputation for providing superb customer service while finding prospective tenants their new home. In addition to base pay which starts at $18/hour, this position can earn commission.
Essential Functions
- Engage with prospective tenants by phone, email, and in-person showings to identify apartments matching their criteria.
- Ensure Prime Urban Properties website, Craigslist, and other advertising sites display accurate availability and pricing.
- Conduct presentations for property lease-ups.
- Schedule, give notice, and send showing confirmation emails.
- Assist with move-out and move-in materials and procedures.
- Facilitate market studies and tenant surveys.
- Support Property Managers.
- Assist with renewals and file audits.
- Maintain prospect, tenant, and property files.
- Manage social media accounts to maximize exposure and engagement.
- Comply with Fair Housing and all other regulations and applicable laws regarding housing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Commitment to excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Able to use good judgment and work with minimum supervision.
- Experience with sales.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with real estate management software preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
