Position Summary
Argonaut Investments seeks a highly motivated, proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role encompassing Investor Relations (IR), Marketing, and Capital Introduction. This individual will play a critical role in supporting fundraising activities, participating in investor communications, preparing marketing materials, overseeing the website and social media, enhancing the firm’s brand presence, and expanding our investor base.
The ideal candidate has experience in private equity, real estate, or alternative investments, with demonstrated success in investor relations, marketing strategy, and capital raising support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Collaborate on the creation of marketing collateral, including pitch decks, fact sheets, case studies, and website content.
- Manage digital marketing channels (e.g., email campaigns, social media, website updates).
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to elevate the Argonaut Investments brand.
- Assist in organizing investor events, industry conferences, and networking activities.
Investor Relations
- Serve as point of contact for new and existing investors to respond to questions and provide information as requested.
- Maintain the investor CRM database with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, webinars, and due diligence processes.
- Support preparation of investment materials, performance data, quarterly updates, and related documentation.
Capital Introductions
- Support capital raising efforts by identifying, researching, and cultivating relationships with prospective investors.
- Partner with senior leadership to coordinate outreach strategies to family offices, institutional investors, wealth managers, and consultants.
- Track fundraising pipelines and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-6 years of experience in investor relations, marketing, capital raising, or a related role in private markets.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, fund structures, and investor reporting requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident in producing high-quality client-facing materials.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office Suite, investor portals, and marketing software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize competing responsibilities, and manage deadlines with a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with real estate investment strategies.
- Experience supporting successful fundraising campaigns.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include base salary, performance bonus potential, and benefits.
Location
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Larkspur CA and requires 3-4 days per week in the office.
