Position: Part-Time Receptionist
Location: Big Bear Lake, California
Hours: Friday- Sunday 9am-5pm
Starting pay: $17.50 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. In addition to handling general receptionist duties, this role will involve key responsibilities related to auditing broker files, posting new listings online, and conducting daily reconciliation of inventory. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the receptionist plays a vital role in setting the tone for client interactions. The role is best suited to someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. It requires multitasking across administrative and customer service functions, often under time-sensitive conditions.
Key reponsibilities:
- Open and close the office daily.
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries effectively.
- Audit broker files to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Post new property listings to company website and other online platforms.
- Perform daily reconciliation of inventory to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars as needed.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception area and conference rooms.
- Maintain inventory of office and marketing supplies, ensuring availability for daily operations.
- Providing coverage at other office locations as required.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support organizational goals and objective.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receptionist or administrative roles preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth office operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in auditing and inventory tasks.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Environment:
This position is based in a professional office environment and involves frequent interaction with clients, staff, and service providers. The role requires sitting for extended periods, working at a computer, and handling phone and in-person communications. You will operate in a front-facing, customer-service-focused area, and serve as a key part of maintaining a smooth and welcoming office environment.
