Assistant Property Manager!

Position Overview
The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations and management of residential or commercial properties. This role involves tenant relations, maintenance coordination, administrative tasks, and ensuring the property is well-maintained and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities Of The Assistant Property Manager
- Tenant Relations: Assist in managing tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests. Facilitate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Conduct property tours and assist in showing units to prospective tenants. Ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with service providers. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure upkeep and safety. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain and update tenant files, lease agreements, and property records. Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking. Handle rent collection, process payments, and manage delinquent accounts. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Marketing and Leasing: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new tenants. Create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, online listings, and social media posts. Track and analyze marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Financial Management: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely rent collection and handle delinquent accounts.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with property management laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required reports to the Property Manager and relevant authorities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager:
- Commercial real estate management experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Property Manager:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal property regulations.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field preferred.
