Job Summary
The Loan Servicing Analyst will oversee the lifecycle of Armitage’s loan portfolio, from origination to payoff. This role will work with borrowers, title companies, legal counsel, Armitage’s Head of Construction, and other parties involved to ensure smooth closings, construction draws, and compliant loan servicing. This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop in multiple areas of a high-growth company.
Accountabilities
Real Estate Closings
- Oversee pre-closing preparation, scheduling, and transaction funding.
- Track checklist diligence items, review for accuracy, and keep deals on schedule.
- Regularly follow up with borrowers and respond to closing inquiries.
- Coordinate with Armitage’s legal counsel, title company representatives, the borrower, and their attorney to ensure a smooth transaction.
Construction Draws
- Lead the draw process from intake to funding.
- Ensure compliance by reviewing sworn statements, lien waivers, title updates, permits, inspections, and insurance documents.
- Confirm and balance construction budgets.
- Assist borrowers with draw documentation and process inspection requests within eight business hours.
- Optionally join on-site construction inspections.
Loan Servicing and Portfolio Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with insurance, property tax, and financial requirements.
- Maintain internal portfolio records and project documentation.
- Prepare and process mortgage lien releases, loan extensions, incoming mail, and borrower inquiries.
- Coordinate with Armitage’s Controller on past-due loans and send default notices as necessary.
General
- Participate in daily huddles and weekly meetings.
- Recommend and implement process improvements as part of Armitage’s core focus on adding value through simplification.
- Act as the main point of contact for borrower inquiries and information workflow to create best-in-class borrower service.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills
- Two or more years of experience in construction loan servicing, closings, or draw processing.
- Located in or around the Chicagoland area.
- High attention to detail, inquisitive, and flexible.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Able to manage expectations internally and externally while providing top notch communication and borrower service.
- Proficiency in Google Drive, Gmail, Sheets, Docs and Microsoft Equivalents.

Compensation
- $50,000 - $80,000 salary commensurate with experience, plus performance bonus based on personal and company success.
