Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant provides vital clerical and administrative support to our staff, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality programming to youth. You'll handle tasks like preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining schedules and calendars, answering calls, and keeping our electronic and hard-copy files organized.

Essential Functions

Prepare correspondence and reports, and compose draft letters.
Maintain schedules and calendars for supervisors and Club activities.
Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings and travel.
Manage filing systems for easy access to information.
Monitor office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
Serve as a welcoming receptionist for visitors and members.
Support payroll by logging staff attendance as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of office clerical experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and great organizational abilities.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Proficiency in typing (at least 50 words per minute) and office equipment usage.
Excellent customer relations skills.

Environmental Conditions and Physical Demands

Work primarily indoors in a fast-paced office environment with occasional interruptions.
Perform tasks requiring mobility, including walking, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Adjust schedules for special events, deadlines, or game days as needed.
