Job Description
This position is permanent intermittent. This permanent intermittent is an appointment with hours varying each pay period based on workload.
This position assists with keeping the roadway surface, associated properties, and equipment of the International Bridge maintained and in a safe operating condition. This position also assists the Bridge Services Supervisor in performing escort duties of overweight, over width trucks, hazardous materials, high profile vehicles in high winds, driving timid motorists and passengers across structure, and other related duties.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (5) level through the maximum rate at the experienced (E6) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.

Laborer E6
One year of experience performing duties involving the use of hand tools and motorized machinery equivalent to a Laborer 5.
Additional Requirements And Information
To be considered for this position you must:
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to satisfy all border crossing requirements for both U.S. Customs and Canada Border Services Agency.
- Possession of a valid Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative Document is required. o (i.e., Passport, Passport Card, NEXUS Card, Enhanced Michigan Driver's License, Tribal Status Card).
