About The Role
Lap of Love is hiring a
Call Center Representative (internally titled
Veterinary Care Coordinator) to join its fully remote team. This role requires exceptional customer service and emotional intelligence to support pet families seeking end-of-life care for their beloved pets. As a key member of the team, you will manage a high volume of calls, guide emotional conversations, and schedule services, all while delivering a calm and compassionate experience from home.
Responsibilities
- Handle high call volumes in a remote setting with professionalism and empathy
- Engage pet families in positive, supportive conversations
- Gather and accurately input medical and scheduling information
- Guide emotionally sensitive calls with peace and patience
- Exceed productivity, quality, and service expectations
- Demonstrate punctuality, flexibility, and sound judgment
- Attend and complete a mandatory 4-week remote training program
- Perform additional customer service tasks as needed
Skills And Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume call centers or customer service roles
- Previous remote work experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability to new processes
- Ability to use tools such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Zoom, and Five9
- Must be available to attend full 4-week mandatory training at the start of employment
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong emotional intelligence and a caring demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds
Schedule
- Call center hours: 7 am – 11 pm EST, 7 days a week
- Includes weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Mandatory 4-week training required
