Your Responsibilities
Manage the Intake Process - Gather and process patient medical information with accuracy and efficiency
Coordinate with Healthcare Providers - Work closely with physicians, nurses, and care teams
Insurance Verification & Authorizations - Ensure patients receive approved services in a timely manner
Maintain Medical Records - Enter and update patient information in EMR and other data systems
Ensure Compliance - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Assist Patients & Families - Provide clear, compassionate communication and customer service
What You Bring To The Team
Education: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting, preferably in Home Health intake or scheduling
Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and regulations
Tech Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and data management
Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with accuracy in documentation
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, including occasional evening or weekend shifts
